Surface Pen Green Light Blinking

Forgive me if this has already been asked.

Surface pen green light blinking. If the light turns off then you have resolved the issue. Contacted microsoft support they sent me a new one fre. A small led light should turn on. From what i remember the battery low indicator is supposed to be a red blinking light.
